Reasons to visit

Northeast India is also known as the Seven Sisters of the East. This group includes Indian states Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Assam.   Northeast India is an absolute delight to visit and explore. This area is culturally rich with several tribes and communities co-existing amicably and celebrating all kinds of traditions. Due to its isolated location, this geographical area is the epitome of preserved natural beauty. The seven sister states enjoy a diverse topography from the mountainous terrain of the Himalayas, the thick rainforest in Meghalaya, to sandy beaches in Tripura. These states are connected through the Siliguri Corridor and are also well known for having the cleanest village in Asia, the rainiest place in the world, the only floating national park in the world, and a subtropical climate.  Northeast India makes for the escapade no matter the season, as one can experience snowy mountains, warm beaches, and heavy monsoons. Picturesque locations, combined with diversified local cuisines, and cosmopolitan culture, you can’t help but fall in love with everything the Seven Sisters states have to offer!
